Growing up, I was a huge Formula One fan. I started watching when I was ten years old, cheering on Michael Schumacher while he won Championship after Championship. Today it is Sebastian Vettel who continues the German domination of the series. Much like soccer put a lot of cities in Europe on the map for me, Formula One did the same around the world, including Montréal.
It was a special and unique experience for me, not only to visit this place that I saw in TV countless times, but to be able to bike on the track and take it in (almost) from a pilots perspective! Having been there today has definitely re-instilled my love for the sport and I can not wait to visit a race for the first time!
Fantastic! So glad you got to do this. So you can come back next year for the Grand Prix and stay til whenever WordCamp will be. 😀
