Kathryn Presner, her husband Shane, Erick Hitter, and I visited the Garlic Festival in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, QC today. The venue was not very big, that didn’t keep people from coming though. The day was beautiful and we spent the better part of the morning and early afternoon strolling around the booths at the Festival, walking along the promenade, and enjoying lunch at a restaurant overlooking the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue Canal.

The pictures for this gif were taken on Kauai during our devision meetup there. Kauai is known for its wild chicken, so naturally one of the meetup achievements was to “Photobomb a feral chicken”. Achievement unlocked!

I’m currently sitting on the floor in Terminal 7 at LAX, with my computer on my lap and plugged in to the only wall outlet I could find. People walking past me look at me in admiration of what I’m willing to do to keep my laptop charged. Little do they know the power outlet doesn’t actually work.
